Varietals: 66.5% Petit Verdot  and 33.5% Cabernet Sauvignon

Aging: 12 months in American Oak barrels (Minnesota and Pennsylvania)

Clarity: clear to brilliant

Intensity: medium - deep

Color (hue): violet

Viscosity: medium - high

 

NOSE:

Impression/condition: very clean, bright and attractive

Intensity: medium

Development: youthful-developing

Aroma characteristics:

Fruit: dark berries, black cherry and black currant and vanilla

Floral: roses, dark berry

Spice: anise, licorice

Vegetal: casis, pencil shavings, vanilla

Other: vanilla, caramel, pepper

 

PALATE

Sweetness: medium-dry

Acidity: refreshing- moderate

Tannin: light to medium

Body: medium to full

Flavor intensity: medium

Flavor characteristics: black cherry, blackberries, vanilla, black pepper.

Length: short to medium
